Aquaponics combines growing plants hydroponically and growing fish through aquaculture. We produce Tilapia and Chinese catfish. We use the water from these fish to produce our high quality products. Our method of farming is sustainable, organically certified and food safety certified.
One acre of our premier growing destination is dedicated to commercial aquaponics farming. Here we produce green oak leaf, red oak leaf, green onions, Japanese cucumbers, beets, and much more. We’re testing other crops as well.
We offer tours to our aquaponics facility Monday through Friday by appointment. The cost is $12 per person, and we can arrange group tours on Saturdays if we’re given advanced confirmation. Our tours are in-depth and talk about how our system works.
We offer a grand tour which includes a demonstration and a tour to our commercial facility, and this is $25 a person. The tour fee helps us with our ongoing research and development of aquaponics and covers our time to give you the tour.
Our tour lasts approximately 30 minutes while our grand tour lasts about an hour. We’re excited to have you join us on our tour.
