Aquaponics combines growing plants hydroponically and growing fish through aquaculture. We produce tilapia and Chinese catfish. We use the water from these fish to produce our high-quality products. Our method of farming is sustainable, organically certified and food safety certified.
One acre of our premier growing destination is dedicated to commercial aquaponics farming. Here, we produce green oak leaf, red oak leaf, green onions, Japanese cucumbers, beets, and much more. We’re testing other crops as well.
We offer tours to our aquaponics facility at 2 p.m. Wednesdays ONLY and by appointment. The cost is $25 per adult, $10 for children ages 3 to 17, $12 to seniors over 62 and military personnel. Our in-depth tours are led by farm staffers and include a demonstration and visit to our commercial facility. The tour fee helps us with our ongoing research and development of aquaponics and covers our time to give you the tour. Make reservations by calling 808-625-2800 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer tours of the farm on WEDNESDAYS ONLY. Learn about aquaponics and sustainable agriculture by our trained staff.
