Black Obsidian

What is it?

Black obsidian is formed when a volcano erupts and the lava cools very quickly. Black obsidian stone is also known as volcanic glass, xaga, and royal agate because of the depth of its colour.

What does it do?

Black Obsidian is often used in feng shui, for spiritual connection and protection.  It is a powerful, protective stone that absorbs and clears negative energy.

Does the shape of the crystal matter?
