The String of Pearls needs well-draining soil to thrive. Choosing the perfect sized pot is another important factor for your plant to thrive. The pot needs to be big enough to let the pearls fill to the brim, if the pot is too big for the plant, then the soil will stay wet and the pearls resting on the wet soil will begin to rot.
