3/28 Ikebana Workshop (Kailua)

Welcome spring with beauty and creativity! Join us on March 28th from 5PM-7PM for our Ikebana Workshop, an evening of artful floral design featuring fresh, locally sourced flowers at Mari’s Gardens Kailua.

Ikebana is an ancient Japanese art form of flower arranging. This class will provide a basic introduction of the three rules of ikebana and the seven principles. Each participant will receive hands on instruction while they create their own Ikebana arrangement using what they have learned and the materials provided.

This workshop is presented in collaboration with Island Bloom Florals, led by the talented Kasey Matschat, a Kailua-based designer with over a decade of experience. Known for crafting stunning arrangements using the finest local blooms, Island Bloom Florals brings a touch of elegance and nature’s beauty to every creation.
