Air Plants
Air Plants
There are over 650 species of Tillandsia native to the forests, mountains, and deserts of Northern Mexico and Southeastern America. Air plants are epiphytes; plants that grow on other plants, such as trees. The Tillandsia leaves are covered in specialized cells called trichomes, which allows them to rapidly absorb water.
☀ ☀ Light :
Thrives in low to medium indirect light, but can tolerate a wide range of environments.
Water :
We recommend fully submerging your Air Plants in a bowl of water for about 5-10 minutes once a week, or lightly misting your air plant about 2-3 times a week.
+ Plant Tip :
Be sure to shake off any excess water after watering your air plant, and allow to air dry in a bright room. Overwatering will result in the bottom of your plant turning brown.
