Anthuriums are a symbol of hospitality and can be found all over the island. There are over 1,000 types of anthurium flowers. The Anthurium Superbum features an interesting foliage. Its leaves are large and elliptical with a ruffled texture and it grows from the center of the plant giving it a rosette shape. Its new leaves emerge with a red hue and eventually fade to a dark green with age.
☀ ☀ Light :
Prefers low to bright indirect light. The plant is unable to withstand direct light and it can hurt your flowers.
Water :
Prefers dry soil. Allow the soil to dry out before watering again.
+ Plant Tip :
Anthuriums do not need to be heavily fertilized, and do not need a powerful fertilizer. It’s recommended to use a one quarter strength fertilizer once every 3 to 4 months, except during the colder months. Use a fertilizer with a higher phosphorus number in order to get stunning flowers.
