Heirloom Beet with a nice earthy yet sweet flavor. The leaves are a vividly red stemmed and gorgeous in color, as is the beet itself, darker and richer than the usual beet. 2-3 in. diameter. Beets can be harvested during the entire season and stores quite well. Use the Beet leaves for greens. Very easy to grow; prefer cool weather but can tolerate many conditions.
