Does the shape of the crystal matter?

Crystals come in all shapes and sizes, and different shapes of crystals can make a difference in how you experience its energy.

Points and Towers: Crystal towers are cut to have a flat base, with 6 to 8 sides and a pointed top.  This point can be used in directing energy, and is often used for meditation and manifestation.

♡ Wands: Crystal wands come in many shapes and sizes. Double terminated wands have a point at each end, while other wands can be rounded at each end (massage wands), or have one rounded end and one pointed end (pencil wands).

Sphere: Offers full, harmonic energy radiating from all surfaces of the stone.  Spheres may also be used for massage therapy; roll the stone on parts of the body that are experiencing pain/tension to release pent up energy in the body.

Pyramid: In sacred geometry, the pyramid is known as a Tetrahedron, and its main function is assisting with manifestation.  The pyramid has a grounding, stabilizing energy, and connects our energy from the crown chakra to the root chakra.

Cluster/Geode: "Geode" comes from the ancient Greek "geoides" meaning "earth-like". Geodes are formed from the Earth for over thousands and even millions of years until they're ready to be discovered. They have a feminine energy and resemble a womb, and give off a nurturing and loving energy.

Hearts:  Stones that are shaped into a heart help us to connect with our heart chakra, and emit a loving and peaceful energy.

Tumbled stones: Tumbled stones are small stones that have been polished and tumbled in a rock tumbler to remove any rough edges.  The benefits of tumbled stones include portability and easy handling, and they are generally more affordable.  Tumbled stones are commonly used in jewelry making, terrariums, and used as paper weights.

Raw/Rough stones: Refers to the basic form of stones that have not been tumbled, polished, treated or cut.  This makes raw/rough stones unique in shape, size and texture.  Due to its uniqueness, raw/rough stones are known as the most sacred gemstones.
